Indian regular visa offers a long-term stay of six months/ one year/ 5 years/ ten years to visa holders. All regular Indian visa applications can be made online. All applicants must apply online first to make an application for getting an Indian visa. The Indian high commission does not accept handwritten applications. The Indian visa application form can only be completed online and should be submitted at the concerned visa application center. You should schedule an interview and must attach supporting documents. You have to follow the following three steps to apply Indian visa:

2. Secondly, submit your application with the required documents at the designated visa application center.
3. The third and last step is to collect your passport from the visa application center or by post.
It is imperative to note that once you fill out your Indian visa application form and submit it, you will receive the application form by email. And you need to print and sign the form to submit your application with physical copies of the required documents at the Indian visa application center.

1. Foreigners who are interested travel India must use the Indian visa application form to apply Indian visa.
2. If you are traveling as a group, each one of you will need to submit separate application forms because the Indian government allows you to submit one application form per person.
3. It is imperative to provide correct information while filling out the application form, like name, address, state, etc.
4. You need to verify the application form before submitting it. You also have the option of saving your application form without submitting it.
5. You cannot make changes to the application form once submitted.
6. You must validate the provided details before applying.
7. You must keep the auto-generated application ID for further communication.
Processing Time: When you receive the receipt from the Indian visa application center, the processing can take a minimum of three working days. The visa will be issued excluding special cases and depending on your nationality. Once you have completed the form, and uploaded your passport and photo, you will be guided to visa payment. You have to pay the fee to process your Indian visa application form.
